An original 1950s pearl necklace. A single strand of evenly matched freshwater pearls have been hand strung on silk thread and set to a push in box clasp. These off-round pearls have a beautiful lustre to them and are very flattering when worn. Length: 42cm ( 16.5" ), average pearl size: 9mm, weight: 14.7g. A petite 1950s costume brooch. A white and black enamel butterfly on a gold-tone metal background. This lovely brooch is signed Sporrong. Size: 28mm x 15mm, weight: 3.2g. A fine white gold and sapphire ring. A row of seven round-cut sapphire gemstones with a combined weight of 0.42ct has been securely set in 9ct white gold. These sapphires are very well matched and would be classed as admiral blue in colour. On either side of this row of sapphires is a twisted rope of 9ct white gold, adding that extra sparkle. A very pretty 1950s amber and sterling silver ring. An oval-shaped amber set in sterling silver, using a rub-over setting. There are contained in this amber a number of foliage fragments, which glitter and add depth to the ring. Also, the colour of this amber changes to a rich cognac when worn because the light cannot pass through from behind. A Scandinavian-inspired, artisan-made ring.
