An impressive 1950s garnet ring. A large oval-cut faceted garnet gemstone weighing 7.5ct is set using a rub-over setting in sterling silver. The bottom of this garnet gemstone is decorated with two twisted ropes, giving the top section of this ring a wider base. The shoulders of this ring are also decorated with raised relief, which accentuates the garnet when viewed from the top section. A stunning cognac coloured Czech crystal necklace. Faceted frustum shaped glass beads together with small clear glass spacers have been strung on a silver chain and set to a brass barrel clasp. The graduated frustum shaped beads create a wonderful cascading effect towards the bottom of the necklace, where a single barrel shaped faceted glass bead is positioned.
