A skillfully crafted Edwardian Horseshoe brooch. Made from 15ct yellow gold and decorated with a row of graduated split seed pearls. King Edward VII owned a number of winning racehorses which popularised horseshoe motifs along with other equine motifs during his reign. This brooch is a fine example of Edwardian craftsmanship.
