An iconic 1950s double-strand pearl necklace. One hundred and twenty-four cultured pearls have been hand strung on silk thread and attached to a 14ct yellow gold clasp. The clasp is designed as a swirl containing eight round cut rubies with a combined weight of 24 points and is finished with a pearl at its centre. These pearls are very well matched and have a beautiful deep lustre. A very stylish mid-century pearl necklace.
