  • A bright Victorian pinchbeck Citrine Brooch. An oval cut Citrine gemstone weighing 25ct has been set in pinchbeck. Pinchbeck is an alloy of copper and zinc and was invented in the 18th Century to resemble gold.   • A beautiful 1930`s Trifari brooch. A gold plated spray brooch, studded with clear rhinestones individually mounted in a closed back rub over setting. Each rhinestone frond features a twisted rope finish, which adds texture as well as extra sparkle to the piece. These rhinestone fronds alternate with metallic blue fronds, creating a gorgeous combination of depth and sparkle. This brooch is signed Trifari and is an original piece of vintage costume jewellery.   • A highly decorative Victorian tortoiseshell pique brooch. Pique was a technique that used gold and silver to inlaid a decorative pattern. It was first introduced in Italy during the 1600s, but reached its heyday in the mid-1800s. The front of this tortoiseshell brooch is in perfect condition. However, there is a chip to the rim at the back of this brooch as can be seen in the photo. This chip cannot be seen from the front of the brooch when worn, however, there is a small crack visible.   • A petite Peridot and Seed Pearl brooch. This bright and lively oval cut Peridot weighing 1.07ct has been set in 9ct yellow gold, with a fine milgrain border.   • A flawless Victorian Goshenite brooch. An oval cut Goshenite gemstone weighing 22.80ct has been set in 9ct yellow gold. Goshenite or white beryl as it is sometimes called is said to be the purest of all the gemstones due to its incredible transparency.  Although it appears completely transparent, there is a very slight blue/green hue visible when viewed from an angle.   • An impressive Art Nouveau sterling silver brooch. This hand-made brooch depicts the profile of a young woman wearing a flamboyant hat, decorated with roses and foliage. The safety pin to the rear has been mounted at an angle that allows an uninterrupted view. A lovely brooch that is very representative of its period. Circa 1900. Size: 41mm in diameter, weight: 13g.   • A decorative Victorian Diamond bar brooch. A round-cut diamond is set 9ct yellow gold on a raised cylindrical plinth, with a single twist rope at its base. Extending from either side are ornate gold wings forming this beautiful Etruscan revival brooch. This brooch comes fitted with a safety chain.   • A unique Georgian garnet and pearl brooch. Eight bright flat cut garnets along with eight split pearls are mounted in rich 9ct yellow gold. Each flat cut garnet is foil backed to give it luminosity before been placed in a closed back setting, which is indicative of the Georgian period.   • A distinctive Art Deco Aquamarine brooch. A rectangular-shaped Aquamarine weighing 2ct has been set in 9ct white gold. This scissor-cut aquamarine has excellent clarity and a beautiful colour. Set to either side of the gemstone are white gold geometric shoulders, with the reverse of the brooch being made from 9ct yellow gold. A classic piece of Art Deco jewellery.   • A very pretty Edwardian Topaz bar brooch. A round cut Topaz gemstone weighing 58 points has been set using a bezel setting, which is finished with a milgrain border. Two split pears orbit around this central Topaz, with split pearl detailing to either side, finishing in scroll finals. A fine example of Edwardian craftsmanship. Size: 54mm x 13mm, weight: 3g.   • A meticulously crafted Edwardian split pearl brooch. This rich 15ct yellow gold bar brooch features a bow as the central motif. At the centre of the bow is fixed a single seed pearl, which is surrounded by graduated split seed pearls. These graduated split seed pearls also extend the full length of the brooch which culminates in two cylindrical finals, topped with split pearls. Split pearl jewellery was very popular during the Edwardian period and is seen as indicative of the era. This brooch is both an elegant and a desirable piece of fine antique jewellery.   • A fine quality Edwardian Tourmaline and Pearl brooch. The round cut tourmaline gemstone weights 80 points and is set in rich 15ct gold with milgrain detail to the edge, providing extra sparkle. Tourmaline is the alternate birthstone for October and was believed to be the artist's gemstone, promoting creativity. To each side of the gemstone are gold scrolls, which taper back to form a bar. Each scroll terminates with a split seed pearl final surrounded by a milgrain edge. In the centre of each double scroll is a floral motif studded with seven split seed pearls. Floral motifs containing split pearls were very popular during this time and are indicative of the period. A well-made and classic piece of fine antique jewellery. Size: 73mm x 11mm, weight: 6.7g.
