A handcrafted Art Nouveau amethyst pendant necklace. Round cut amethyst gemstones along with round cut pieces of mother of pearl are mount in individually raised rub over settings. These raised settings are in turn set in a silver floral open framework panel. This panel is completed with a mother of pearl teardrop suspended from the bottom. The reverse of this panel is engraved with floral motifs, which were indicative of the Art Nouveau era. A rare and unique piece of antique jewellery.
