A decorative Art Nouveau moonstone ring. A large and impressive cabochon moonstone weighing 6.87ct has been set in silver using a rub-over setting. Moonstone was a very popular gemstone during the Art Nouveau period and grey moonstones such as this one were called "New Moon Stones".
