A handcrafted Art Nouveau amethyst pendant necklace. Round cut amethyst gemstones along with round cut pieces of mother of pearl are mount in individually raised rub over settings. These raised settings are in turn set in a silver floral open framework panel. This panel is completed with a mother of pearl teardrop suspended from the bottom. The reverse of this panel is engraved with floral motifs, which were indicative of the Art Nouveau era. A rare and unique piece of antique jewellery. An intricate Art Deco butterfly wing necklace. This beautiful scene of a beach with golden sands and a palm tree was made using iridescent butterfly wings. It was made by using a technique called reverse painting, where the butterfly wings were placed onto the back of the glass and then mounted in sterling silver. Which is finished off with a decorative border and a flower bail. This exquisite pendant is suspended from its original sterling silver Singapore chain. The necklace was manufactured and signed by Thomas Mott (TLM) circa the 1920s. A beautiful piece of history, which has become very collectible. Size: 40mm x 18mm, weight: 6.6g. Chain length : 45cm. A glittering Venetian foil necklace. Hand blown, faceted bottle green glass beads, with three spherical beads containing 24ct gold foil has been used to create this beautiful Venetian graduated foil necklace. The central gold foil bead contains two inclusions, one of which is dramatic. They were placed there intentionally by the artist to show the process by which it was made. A very pretty aventurine swirl necklace. These shimmering glass beads were made by a Venetian artist, who mixed crushed aventurine gemstone dust with molten glass. The necklace chain is made of fetter links with small faceted amber glass pieces intermittently spaced. Which gives a further depth to this gorgeous necklace.
