An intricate Art Deco butterfly wing necklace. This beautiful scene of a beach with golden sands and a palm tree was made using iridescent butterfly wings. It was made by using a technique called reverse painting, where the butterfly wings were placed onto the back of the glass and then mounted in sterling silver. Which is finished off with a decorative border and a flower bail. This exquisite pendant is suspended from its original sterling silver Singapore chain. A fabulous pearl flapper style necklace. Off-round Tahitian pearls have been set at intervals on multiple strands, with small glass spacer beads in between. Some of these clear glass spacers are speckled black, which adds a beautiful depth of colour. A very pretty aventurine swirl necklace. These shimmering glass beads were made by a Venetian artist, who mixed crushed aventurine gemstone dust with molten glass. The necklace chain is made of fetter links with small faceted amber glass pieces intermittently spaced. Which gives further depth to this gorgeous necklace.
