  • A pretty Victorian clover brooch. Three saphiret glass hemispheres have been set in a closed back gold-tone setting, with a single rhinestone in the centre.   • A highly decorative Victorian tortoiseshell pique brooch. Pique was a technique that used gold and silver to inlaid a decorative pattern. It was first introduced in Italy during the 1600s, but reached its heyday in the mid-1800s. The front of this tortoiseshell brooch is in perfect condition. However, there is a chip to the rim at the back of this brooch as can be seen in the photo. This chip cannot be seen from the front of the brooch when worn, however, there is a small crack visible.
