  • A skillfully crafted Bog Oak mourning brooch. An oval-shaped piece of bog oak has been carved with a floral design in relief. Fitted with a brass spring-mounted pin to the back. Size: 48mm X 18mm, weight: 5g Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).
  • An original Victorian brooch. A crescent moon studded with clear graduated rhinestones in a gold tone setting. The pin on this brooch extends beyond the brooch itself, this was a security measure and is a characteristic of Victorian jewellery. A rare piece of antique costume jewellery.   • An original Victorian bog oak mourning brooch. An oval cabochon shape piece of bog oak has been carved to depict a central flower, with two foliate panels on either side. Size: 43mm X 34mm, weight: 10g Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).
  • A meticulously crafted micro mosaic tie pin. Tiny pieces of ceramics have been arranged to depicting four flowers and foliage on a black background. This micro mosaic has then been mounted in a gold-tone setting, a rare and unique piece of Victorian craftsmanship. All of our tie pins are sold with a stopper fitted to the point.   • A meticulously crafted Victorian Micro Mosaic brooch. Made by the Italian artist Fabbrica Angelo Pessar, who was renowned for his beautiful micro mosaics. Which he sold to Victorians traveling in Italy, typically as part of their grand tour. A beautiful piece of history. Size: 27mm X 27mm, weight: 6.7g Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).
  • A very pretty Victorian silver daisy brooch, inspired by the Japanese arts of shakudo and shibuichi. Depicting two daisies flowers in raised relief and engraved foliage. A well-made piece of antique jewellery, circa 1875. Diameter: 34mm, weight: 5.8g Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).
  • An intricately carved Whitby jet mourning brooch. An oval-shaped piece of jet has been hand-carved to depict an eagle landing on a garland, which is finished with a foliate surround.   • A pretty Victorian clover brooch. Three saphiret glass hemispheres have been set in a closed back gold-tone setting, with a single rhinestone in the centre. Saphiret glass is made by adding gold to sapphire coloured glass and was produced in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia during the 19th century.  A well-made and rare piece of antique costume jewellery.   • A bright Victorian pinchbeck Citrine Brooch. An oval cut Citrine gemstone weighing 25ct has been set in pinchbeck. Pinchbeck is an alloy of copper and zinc and was invented in the 18th Century to resemble gold. This large Citrine has excellent colour saturation and clarity, allowing it to catch the light beautifully. Size: 32mm x 28mm, weight:11.6g. Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).
  • A distinguished Victorian tie pin. A round-cut diamond has been set in a rich 15ct gold cylinder, surrounded by a twisting gold ribbon with milgrain detailing to the edges.   • A classic Victorian Etruscan revival tie pin. Made from rich 15ct yellow gold, this tie pin features an old cut diamond at the center a star setting, with a rope border and an outer ring of eight flowers.  This exquisite tie pin comes in its original box.   • A distinctive Victorian Silver Locket. An octagonal-shaped locket depicting a deer in raised profile. This locket is hallmarked for 1889. A unique and beautiful Victorian locket.   • A highly decorative Victorian tortoiseshell pique brooch. Pique was a technique that used gold and silver to inlaid a decorative pattern. It was first introduced in Italy during the 1600s, but reached its heyday in the mid-1800s. The front of this tortoiseshell brooch is in perfect condition. However, there is a chip to the rim at the back of this brooch as can be seen in the photo. This chip cannot be seen from the front of the brooch when worn, however, there is a small crack visible.   • A flawless Victorian Goshenite brooch. An oval cut Goshenite gemstone weighing 22.80ct has been set in 9ct yellow gold. Goshenite or white beryl as it is sometimes called is said to be the purest of all the gemstones due to its incredible transparency.  Although it appears completely transparent, there is a very slight blue/green hue visible when viewed from an angle.   • A Victorian Etruscan revival diamond tie pin. An old cut diamond weighing five points has been mounted in beautiful 15ct yellow gold and is surrounded by six gold spheres set to form eccentric circles with a twisted rope edge finish.   • A decorative Victorian Diamond bar brooch. A round-cut diamond is set 9ct yellow gold on a raised cylindrical plinth, with a single twist rope at its base. Extending from either side are ornate gold wings forming this beautiful Etruscan revival brooch. This brooch comes fitted with a safety chain.
