Beautiful concentric circles of rhinestones, starting with a royal blue outer circle which moves to a sky blue middle circle and then to a pale blue inner circle. Finished with a single royal blue rhinestone at the centre. These rhinestones are set in a closed-back gold tone setting and have been signed by Sphinx.   • A bright Victorian pinchbeck Citrine Brooch. An oval cut Citrine gemstone weighing 25ct has been set in pinchbeck. Pinchbeck is an alloy of copper and zinc and was invented in the 18th Century to resemble gold. This large Citrine has excellent colour saturation and clarity, allowing it to catch the light beautifully. Size: 32mm x 28mm, weight:11.6g. Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).
  • An intricately carved Whitby jet mourning brooch. An oval-shaped piece of jet has been hand-carved to depict an eagle landing on a garland, which is finished with a foliate surround.   • A beautiful 1930`s Trifari brooch. A gold plated spray brooch, studded with clear rhinestones individually mounted in a closed back rub over setting. Each rhinestone frond features a twisted rope finish, which adds texture as well as extra sparkle to the piece. These rhinestone fronds alternate with metallic blue fronds, creating a gorgeous combination of depth and sparkle. This brooch is signed Trifari and is an original piece of vintage costume jewellery.   • A unique and rare Art Deco Flower Brooch. Two delicate and intricate roses have been hand carved from celluloid. These pale yellow roses are fixed to a marcasite studded sterling silver stem. This brooch is Swiss made and stamped 935. A beautiful piece which desires to be treasured. Size : 49mm x 28mm, weight : 8g. Period: Art Deco Jewellery ( 1920 – 1935 ).
  • A flawless Victorian Goshenite brooch. An oval cut Goshenite gemstone weighing 22.80ct has been set in 9ct yellow gold. Goshenite or white beryl as it is sometimes called is said to be the purest of all the gemstones due to its incredible transparency.  Although it appears completely transparent, there is a very slight blue/green hue visible when viewed from an angle. A bright and lively brooch, which looks amazing when worn. Size: 30mm x 23mm, weight: 7.6g. Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).
  • A pretty Victorian clover brooch. Three saphiret glass hemispheres have been set in a closed back gold-tone setting, with a single rhinestone in the centre. Saphiret glass is made by adding gold to sapphire coloured glass and was produced in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia during the 19th century.  A well-made and rare piece of antique costume jewellery.   • A decorative Victorian Diamond bar brooch. A round-cut diamond is set 9ct yellow gold on a raised cylindrical plinth, with a single twist rope at its base. Extending from either side are ornate gold wings forming this beautiful Etruscan revival brooch. This brooch comes fitted with a safety chain. Size: 42mm x 17mm, chain length: 63mm, weight: 5.8g Period: Victorian ( 1837 – 1901 ).  
  • A unique Georgian garnet and pearl brooch. Eight bright flat cut garnets along with eight split pearls are mounted in rich 9ct yellow gold. Each flat cut garnet is foil backed to give it luminosity before been placed in a closed back setting, which is indicative of the Georgian period. This brooch is in excellent condition for its age and can be worn as a pendant as well as a brooch. A rare and well-made piece of fine antique jewellery. Size: 28mm x 25mm, weight: 2.9g.   • A very pretty Victorian Garnet scroll brooch. Three Garnet gemstones have been set diagonally in 9ct yellow gold and finished with milgrain detailing.   • An impressive Art Nouveau sterling silver brooch. This hand-made brooch depicts the profile of a young woman wearing a flamboyant hat, decorated with roses and foliage. The safety pin to the rear has been mounted at an angle that allows an uninterrupted view. A lovely brooch which is very representative of its period. Made in Birmingham, circa 1900.
